Who is this breathing good for?

A breathing session works in a healing way on various levels. It gives you the opportunity to let go of negative beliefs, reduce self-judgments, and release stuck emotions and blockages. If you feel the desire to stand in your power and experience inner freedom, then breathwork is something for you.

In what cases do you advise against a session?

Unfortunately, there are some cases where participation in this type of transformational breathwork is not possible:

- If you are currently taking heavy medication.
- In the case of cardiovascular problems or a high heart rate or blood pressure (above 140/90).
- If you have a history of epilepsy.
- After a recent surgery.
- In the case of retinal detachment.
- If you suffer from schizophrenia, another extreme disorder or psychosis.
- In the case of bipolar depression.

This is to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

I have not experienced any major traumas or intense events, is it also for me?

We can frequently compare ourselves to others and then think that what we have experienced is not that bad. Thoughts like "I'm not having any trouble" or "I shouldn't complain in comparison to what others are going through/have experienced." You don't need to have gone through major, intense things to experience that there are things holding you back. From a young age, we learn certain behaviors and thought patterns that shape us. Often, it is to protect ourselves in the situations of that time. Do you find that the learned beliefs and certain thoughts no longer serve you? Do you sometimes do things that are not in line with what you truly believe/think? Do you experience tensions or certain aches in your body? It is very possible that you could benefit from breathing sessions. If you have any questions specific to you, please get in touch!

What is the advantage of regular breathing?

Even in a single session, you usually benefit greatly. In addition, just like many sports, yoga, and meditation, you gain a lot from doing it regularly. Whether you want to process a lot, simply want to relax, or want to cleanse yourself on a lasting basis. Unconsciously, we store a lot in our body and carry a lot with us in our luggage. Clearing this out works best with multiple sessions (possibly in combination with other forms of (body) work that you prefer). Consistently continuing breathing sessions has great advantages for your overall health.
